Rescapp 0.51 beta 1 has been released.

Rescapp 0.51 beta 1 has been released.

Rescapp is the Rescatux main program. It is a nice wizard that helps you in your rescue tasks.

For the last few weeks I have been working on separating Rescapp from Rescatux.
That way Rescapp is an standalone program and can be used on other distros.

Rescatux build will be also be more elegant.

This is a source code release so it’s not aimed at final users.

It’s rather aimed at expert users and GNU/Linux distribution package maintainers.
Despite the 0.51b1 version this is the first beta release of Rescapp so any feedback is welcome.

Finally you should note that Rescapp assumes that the user under you run Rescapp can run the sudo command without sudo asking for a password. So you might need to modify your sudoers file.

For the time being Rescapp and Rescatux will have the same version as their development is highly tied.
