Fix Boot of Linux Option

Where this option is found.

  • Super Grub Disk Basic Menu -> Super Grub Disk Advanced Menu -> GRUB -> Restore GRUB in partition (+ Hard Disk) -> (same) Restore GRUB in partition (+ Hard Disk)

Purpose

You can install GRUB boot to a partition and its drive number is saved. Ideal for Windows boot.ini chainloading.

Usage

You are prompted with the several location where GRUB's stage1 is found. Just select the partition where your Linux resides (usually the only option that you have). If everything is OK SGD will prompt: SGD HAS SUCCEEDED. :) In order to chainload Grub from Windows you need to still need to read the instructions found on the problems associated to this problem.
