Grub: no such partition
« on: 2012/01/10, 19:17:11 pm »
This is a semi-automated message generated from Rescatux live cd.
My description of my system is:
My system has Ubuntu 11.04 operating system with 1 hard disks. I tried resizing a partition and now ubuntu wont start. On a second partion is win7 installed which, of course, also wont start since there is some problem with grub.
My problem is:
While booting i get an error like "no such partition" and then nothing happens...
Id really appreciate if someone has the time/interest to help me. Thanks!

You might need to reinstall Grub.

That's: Grub (+) -> Restore Grub option in Rescatux.

Not sure if you will need to fsck the Gnu/Linux partition.
