Ghosted Suse Pc wont boot

Hi,

Ghosted a Suse 9.3 machine to a new box - shows the GRUB on boot.

Tried the rescatux CD but it says something went wrong when it tires to do anything with the grub.

Tried the chat - but there's no one there

Please read Restorge GRUB to the MBR from the FAQ which I have just updated to reflect your problem.

As long as your distribution is very old (It uses Grub instead of Grub2) if Rescatux still fails and you need your system back in a hurry you should try Super Grub Disk (not Super Grub2 Disk) which it will probably succeed on solving your problem.

This is the most common error with the boot loader,  too have faced the similar problem
