SGD 0.9766 - Boot Linux Directly as ROOT
« on: 2008/10/07, 12:27:16 pm »
Hello SGD users and friends,

SGD 0.9766 is available as a multilingual cdrom and as spanish and english usbs and floppies. I have fixed a bug in Boot Linux Directly option that made impossible to use this option successfully. The stack for SGD grub variables was insufficient.
The main purpose of SGD 0.9766 version is for you to test these options:
  • Advanced -> Miscellanea -> Boot Linux Directly -> SH Boot Linux Directly
  • Advanced -> Miscellanea -> Boot Linux Directly -> SINGLE Boot Linux Directly

and report here at the forum: http://www.supergrubdisk.org/forum/index.php?topic=93.0 or at the mailing list your results.

You will need to tell us which distribution are you using and what the results are.
Do you get an inmediate root account?
Do you get a message asking you a password instead?

Thank you.
