Title: Super GRUB Disk on SD Card for fast Auto Boot Repair?
Post by: Mantik on 2013/03/17, 20:25:49 pm
Is it possible to install Super Grub Disk onto a SD Card (on a laptop) in such a way that if and when the GRUB bootloader (on the hard disc) becomes corrupted - the laptop's boot up process instantly switches to the Super Grub Disk menu located on the SD Card?

This way there's no longer any "wait time" spent looking for external CDs or external flash drives.

Theoretically using the instructions on how to make a Super Grub2 Disk USB (http://www.supergrubdisk.org/wiki/SuperGRUB2Disk#Creating_a_Bootable_Super_GRUB2_Disk) should work.

Complain to Jordan in irc if you find instructions not being good enough.
